Discovery Place and Cane Creek

We are trying to squeeze as much fun into Fall Break as we possibly can!  Yesterday we went to the Discovery Place.  The kids had SO much fun!  Even Aaron had fun!  He liked the baby section and he loved the balls that stayed up with air.  He got so excited!  It was very cute.

Today we went to Cane Creek with the N family.  We all had a great time!  The weather was perfect for a picnic at the park.  C and A continue to do incredibly well and we love getting to see them so much.  The kids had such a good time playing together.  Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Fall Break?!

BHESA 100th Anniversary

This Thursday was Benton Heights 100th Anniversary.  We have been celebrating since Thursday.  Today we had a 100th Anniversary festival and it was a lot of fun!  Rayna sometimes has a hard time with crowds so she was not too happy at first, but C and A were there with the N family and that helped a lot.  After she calmed down, she ended up having a great time.  Molly was having so much fun that she did NOT want to leave.  She's already asking about the festival next year!
And Aaron thought the festival was okay, but he was happy to get home to his Nana!

First Cereal

Our big boy had his first rice cereal!  Of course Big Sister Molly was the one to feed it to him.  She's such a good little helper!  He loves his cereal and now that he's eating it, he's acting more satisfied and doesn't feel the need to eat every half hour.  ;-)
Molly also assisted in feeding Rayna her first rice cereal.  Such a good big sister!

Apple Orchard

The title of this post had to be "apple orchard" rather than "apple picking" because we didn't too much "picking."  :-)

Even though (according to Molly) it took forever and ever to get there,

The kids had fun eating their picnic lunch,
 Playing in the bamboo forest,
 Petting the farm animals,

 Checking out the beehive,
 Playing in the barn,
Sliding down the slide,
....and after all that fun, we were a little too tired to pick apples!  We picked about half a basket full before deciding the pre-picked apples and apple cider looked pretty good.  ;-)
It was a fun trip!
Aaron can't wait to go back next year when he has teeth!
