Saturday Fun

Today we went to the 4H festival.  Molly and I sold necklaces and coffee mugs for the adoption.  Molly was such a good helper and necklace model!  Since we were so close, we stopped by to visit Nana, too.  The kids love to go to Nana's house.  I think they'd rather go to Nana's house than Disney World.  Ha!

Sleepover and Allergies

The kids had their first sleepover this weekend.  We watched John and Ruth while their parents went the Panthers game.  The girls were so excited to have Ruth spend the night. And they even got a little sleep!

Yesterday, Molly had some extensive allergy testing. We found out that she is allergic to a lot. (Not surprising. Our girl seems to always be having done sort of allergy issues.)  She's allergic to a few different types of tree nuts, several trees, grass, weeds, dogs, cats, mold, dust mites, fire ants. We have started her on a daily antihistamine. Hoping she gets some relief!

Coffee House

Our precious friends from church had a coffee house fundraiser for us and our friends the Franks. It was such a wonderful event!  Live music, a silent auction, and fellowship with friends. (Including our friends the Hoovers that surprised us!)  praising God for all of the ways He's providing for our adoption. Our little Ethan is already loved by so many!!

Our Ethan in China!

On May 16th, we received the file for this precious baby boy.  We have named him Ethan and he is 2 years old.  We cannot give too much information on him at this time, but we have been given permission to share his photos.  We just got an update on Tuesday and it felt like Christmas!  We also got our i800a approval!  We are so excited to bring home this sweet boy!

We spent Labor Day in Winston-Salem. It  was great to spend time with Brian's family. The kids had so much fun and came home worn out. Even Ginger!

Super Saturday

First Saturday after school starting. I had totally envisioned everyone sleeping in then waking up and watching Saturday morning cartoons while Brian and I sip coffee. Not so much. We've had breakfast, walked to the park, blown bubble, and played a family soccer game. And it's 9:32. Oh well.....we can rest when they are grown. <3
Tonight we had a good time celebrating our friend Alicia's 40th birthday. Happy birthday, Alicia!!  We love you!

Pillow Pool

Aaron has been spending tons of time in the pool full of couch cushions. What I wouldn't give for a little of his energy and creativity!
