First Days!

Molly's first day of Kindergarten!
Rayna's first day of preschool!

Molly started school on Monday and Rayna started school today.  They both had a good first day and they have both been coming home talking about their schools.  Molly completed her first kindergarten project--a poster telling all about herself.  She was very proud!  I can't believe how quickly my babies are growing.

They love their brother!

The girls have loved their baby brother from day one.  I kept waiting for the "newness" of the baby to wear off, but it never really has.  They are so good about helping him do things, watching out for him, feeding him, etc.  They are so sweet and gentle with him.  Such good little Mamas!

13 Months Old

Aaron is 13 months old today.  While he is turning into a toddler in every way, he is still everyone's baby.  :-)

Happy 4th of July!

We had a super 4th of July!  We spent this 4th of July with Brian's family in Winston-Salem.  The kids have been SO excited about going to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  In fact, last week I asked Molly what fun thing she wanted to do this summer and she replied, "Oh, just go to Grandma and Grandpa's house and that's all."  And Rayna seriously asks me to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house ALL THE TIME.  So they were very happy to go!  Rayna fell asleep in the car and woke up when we got home.  Our neighbors were shooting off fireworks and since my kids are usually always in bed when there are fireworks, I let them stay up and watch them tonight.  I may regret it when I have cranky kids tomorrow, but they were thrilled to get to go out after dark and see fireworks.  It was a fun 4th of July!

Date Night!

Brian and I had a date night for his (belated) birthday.  We met our good friends Mike and Nicole for dinner at Cracker Barrell (thanks Benton Heights PTA!) and coffee at Starbucks (thanks Marie Hines!)  I love my babies, but it was nice to get to talk to my husband and friends without interruption.  It was a great evening!
