Happy Halloween!

We had a fun Halloween!  Last night we went trick-or-treating with our friends the Wilsons and the Leons.  Everyone had a great time.  Molly has been SO excited about trick-or-treating.  In fact, she's pretty much been talking about it since last Halloween.  Rayna wasn't so sure about trick-or-treating at first, but Daddy pushed her around in the stroller and she was definitely excited about her candy!  One of our neighbors gives out juice every year and she was also excited about the juice.  She dressed up as a fairy, Molly was a bride, and Aaron was a little pumpkin baby.  Molly's bride coustume was actually my flower girl's dress from our wedding 8 years ago.  Our sweet flower girl, Meredith, handed it down to Molly and it made a great bride's dress!
Rayna LOVES to dress up.  She was a "princess bride" today while I was a work and Nana got a picture of her.  She told me she wanted to go trick-or-treating again tonight!

Celebrating My Girls!

Today we celebrated my girls' birthdays.  We had a super-fun birthday party with lots of their friends.  They had a great time!
Then Saturday night, we went to dinner at Chuck E. Cheese with the Newmans and Aunt Marie.  Of course, they had a blast!
 Happy Birthday, Girls!!

Five!!

Five?  FIVE?  How is my baby already five?!!

She had a fun day celebrating her 5th birthday.  She took cupcakes to school to eat with her friends.  After school, she had violin lessons and her violin teacher played Happy Birthday to Molly.  Then she had cake, ice cream, and presents tonight.  Nana told her she would make her anything she wanted for dinner and she chose fish, mac and cheese, and corn on the cob.  She had a fun day!
Think she enjoyed her cupcakes, Jane?  :-)

Happy birthday, My Sweet Baby!!

Stanley Family Gathering

We had a lovely weekend with my mom's side of the family.  We had a special treat as my mom's sister Becki and her husband Hemant are currently in the country.  We had a family gathering on Saturday and went to hear my uncle Hemant preach on Sunday.  It was a great weekend!

4 Months

Our sweet Aaron is four months old today.  He is the sweetest baby EVER.  At four months old, he can roll over both ways, coo, laugh out loud, and bring toys to his mouth.  He loves his big sisters and smiles and laughs at them.  He's an awesome eater (in case you couldn't tell from those chunky legs!)  He nurses AND gets formula and he eats rice cereal, apples, and bananas.

We love you, precious Aaron!  We thank God everyday for the unexpected blessing you've brought into our lives!

Happy Birthday, Nana!

Today is Nana's birthday.  We had a great time celebrating!  I got a babysitter (this NEVER happens!) for the kids and we went out for a ladies' lunch.  I surprised my mom by having some of her friends meet us for lunch.  It was a good time!  Then the girls helped me make her a carrot cake.  They were excited!  Happy birthday, Nana!!  We are so thankful for you!

Beach

In my opinion, year-round school is one of the best kept secrets.  I LOVE Fall break and this year we got to spend part of our Fall break at the beach.  The weather was PERFECT.  It didn't get chilly until yesterday which worked out perfectly for us because we had already planned on going to Ripley's Aquarium.  (FYI--Educators get into Ripley's Aquarium for free and can bring a guest for half price.)

Molly had a great time.  I got her a puddle jumper and she swam like a fish!  It is definitely time to get that girl some swim lessons!

Rayna was not so sure about the beach at first.  She didn't like the sand AT ALL.  But she eventually warmed up to it and by the end of our trip she was loving it!

Aaron, being the sweet little guy that he is, was an absolutely perfect traveler.  He was great in the car, slept well, and just went with the flow.

We met up with my brother and his family and it was great to spend some time with them.  That was actually the first time I had met my nephew, Isaiah.  He's such a sweetie!
