Big Week

Rayna went on a field trip this week to see a play.  Nana met her there to watch the play with her.  She was super excited!
Molly lost her other front tooth.  She's been waiting on this one to fall out since before Christmas!  Pretty exciting!
And Aaron thinks all of life is pretty exciting--even playing in his sisters' closet.  :-)
We are also very excited to report that Bapa came through is knee-replacement surgery well.  He has a lot of recovery and physical therapy in front of him, but is happy to have it behind him.  We love you, Bapa!!

Pajama Model

Rayna LOVES to change clothes.  She changes clothes 20 times a day.  Tonight, she had changed her PJs three times when I put the girls to bed.  I told them that I was going to put Aaron to bed and that they could sit on their beds and read books but not get out of bed.  Rayna said, "Except if we need to change our pajamas, right Mommy?"  Funny girl!

Our friends the Goodmans came over for dinner tonight.  Michelle brought St. Patrick's Day cupcakes.  What a fun way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!

21 Months

This sweet guy is 21 months old.  Will he really be two in just a few months?!

At 21 months, Aaron is a handful and a half.  We have done more childproofing for Aaron than both the girls combined.  He will play with toys, but would MUCH rather flush things down the toilet, climb on the counters, raid the dishwasher, throw things down the stairs, run into the street, or get into some other kind of trouble.  I'm hoping maybe he's getting his "terrible two" stage out a little early?

The biggest growth we've seen in Aaron this year is definitely his language.  At 18-months-old, he only had a couple of words.  Now he has many words.  He says:

Dada
Mama
Nana
Bapa
Kitty
Gentle
Cheese
Baba (bottle)
Bye bye
Ball
Bath
Up
Wawa (water)
Night night
Baby
Bob (bob the tomato from Veggie Tales)
Beep-beep

And he also has a couple of phrases.  He says, "What's that?" a hundred times a day.  He also says "I want" but he kind of says it all as one word.  "Iant ba-ba."  Etc.

We love our busy, sweet boy!

Bangs

My sweet girl decided that getting her haircut yesterday was so much fun, she should give herself some bangs today.  Seriously?!

Locks of Love

Recently I told Molly about the organization Locks of Love.  The nonprofit organization accepts donations of human hair to make wigs for children in need.  Molly decided that even though she wanted to grow her hair out as long as Rapunzel, she would cut it to help make a wig for a child that needed one.  So we went today to have it cut.  I am so proud of her!  Tonight, she was talking again about hair donation and she said, "Mommy, you know if Rapunzel donated her hair, she could make a lot of wigs."  LOVE!  <3 br="">

Rayna and Mommy also got haircuts!

Hey now!  The girls aren't the only ones with awesome hair!

Tabernacle

Molly's Sunday school class has been learning about the tabernacle.  Her Sunday school teacher gave us all of the materials necessary to make a model of the tabernacle.  This week, Molly made her model tabernacle.  She worked so hard on it.  Proud of my girl!

March!

We are very excited that it's March!  March is the last month of Daddy's busy season and we are ready for Spring!  This weekend has felt like Spring and we played outside all afternoon.  Molly has been practicing riding her bike without training wheels and she is getting the hang of it!  We are so proud of her and she is so proud of herself!  I will post pictures and/or video soon.  So excited that Spring is just around the corner!
