Aaron the Artist

Today Aaron drew a picture of me. I was pretty impressed with his drawing!  I eyes, a nose, a mouth, and hair!  I'm pretty sure he's going to be an artist!

Snow Day

The kids were super excited about an actual SNOW day today. The girls went outside first thing this morning and played outside on and off all day. Aaron was only interested in watching the girls out the window and drinking a snow cream milkshake. :)

Pajama Night

The kids had pajama night tonight at Awana. They were excited to wear their pjs but when I told them we had to stop by the store, Molly said, "in our pajamas?!  Oh my!  This is SO embarrassing!"  Luckily we saw some other Awana kids in pjs so it wasn't so bad.

Trouble

His big sisters aren't the only ones that know how to get themselves into trouble. :-)

Rayna's Busy Day

Rayna had a busy day yesterday.  First of all, she lost her second tooth.  I can't get over how much older she looks now that she's starting to lose teeth!

Then yesterday afternoon, Rayna decided to cut her hair.  She cut huge chunks from all over her head.  Luckily our awesome hairdresser fixed it and she ended up with an adorable little haircut.
The funny thing about this story is that it was almost exactly one year ago that Molly gave herself a haircut.  I guess this is something that all little girls go through?

Ice Day

We were hoping for some snow this week, but instead we got ice.  Oh, well!  My little southern babies were excited to play in the ice.  Hines Academy was still in session, but we did do school in front of the fire.  And Daddy went into work late so we got to spend the morning with him.  It was fun--for an ice day!  Next time, I'd prefer a snow day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a very nice Valentine's Day.  We went to the Brian Center Nursing home with several other families from church.  The kids sang songs and passed out cookies and gifts to the residents.  It was such a good experience for the kids and the residents loved having the kids' company.  The kids were spoiled with goodies from Daddy and Mommy, Nana, and several of Nana's neighbors.

Happy Valentine's Day!
