Brothers

Aaron was not all that excited about getting a little brother. And he absolutely did NOT want to share his room. Until he met Ethan. From day 1, he has been the best big brother. He is loving, patient, and protective. (Things that don't necessarily come easily to him 😉). He adores his "baby Ethan" which I firmly believe is from God. Now, he not only wants Ethan to share his room, he wants him to share his bed. Today he "taught" Ethan how to make banana bread with Nana.  It makes my heart so happy. 💙

We had another super Saturday!  After Rayna and Aaron's soccer games, we went to the spring festival at the girls' school.  Fun day!

Aaron seriously loves the Chick-fil-a cow. The girls had spirit night at Chick-fil-A tonight and Aaron asked me to take a picture of him with the cow. Then he wanted to show the picture to the cow.  Eat more chicken!

Easter Weekend

 So happy to celebrate Easter with our sweet Ethan this year!  We've had a great Easter weekend.  Yesterday, the kids got their Easter baskets and we went to our neighborhood block party where Molly WON another Easter basket.  She was quite excited that she won!  Daddy and Aaron didn't make it to church today because Aaron's stomach was upset, but he's doing much better now.  We had Easter dinner with Nana and Aaron managed to eat THREE helpings so he's definitely feeling better!  So thankful for this time with my family and for the reason that we have to celebrate.  So thankful that Jesus died for our sins and that he's ALIVE.  Happy Resurrection Day!

Cane Creek

We went to Cane Creek with the Hoovers today. Such a fun time!  We died eggs, went on a little hike, and Ms. Meg did some fishing with the kids. It was a sweet day with sweet friends. We are loving spring break!

Our Ray Ray got her first library card today!  Such an exciting milestone!

Super Saturday

We had a super Saturday today!  It was an absolutely beautiful day and we enjoyed spending it together as a family.  First, Rayna and Aaron both had soccer games.  It was Rayna's first game and she did a GREAT job!  Aaron also did really well!  After lunch today, we went to a farming festival at the Agricultural Center.  The kids had a great time!  Ethan had a lot of firsts.  First bounce house, first train ride, etc.  He LOVED the train!  He was so happy the whole time!  It was a fun day!  Then tonight, Aaron insisted that Ethan sleep with him.  Before Ethan came home, Aaron wasn't so sure how he felt about sharing his room.  He was worried that Ethan was going to mess up his room or break his toys.  Now, he not only wants Ethan to sleep in his room, he wants him to sleep in his bed with him!  Such a sweet big brother.
