Staying Cool
Well, this is been my first week back to work so I haven't had a lot of time to update the blog. I've had a week of workdays and this week we have kindergarten testing. We're still having lots of Summer fun and trying to stay cool as the weather has been crazy hot here!
Tuesday, we went out for FREE ice cream! New Life 91.9 and Brusters were giving out free ice cream so Nicole and I took the kids for a yummy treat. It's definitely been good weather for ice cream this week!
We've also been keeping cool by hanging out at the pool. This week we met up with some Benton Heights friends for swimming. Fun times!
Yesterday we went to the Discovery Place with the McArthurs and had a really good time. It was the first time we had been since having children. They have a new "little kid" section so even Rayna and Zoe had a good time. We can't wait to go back!
Cooper's BirthdayLast night we went over to the Hendricks' to celebrate Cooper's 2nd birthday. I can't believe he's already 2! Where have the last two years gone? We had a great time celebrating!

You Might Have A Two Year Old If......
* You know all of the Wiggles by name.
* You get REALLY nervous when things are too quiet at your house.
* Your pet fish has recently been fed an ENTIRE container of fish food.
* Your minivan has been finger-painted green.
* You have to listen to "Who Did Swallow Jonah" over and over. Not because it is her favorite Bible story, but because she thinks the song goes "pooted, pooted, pooted, pooted" instead of "who did, who did, who did, who did." :-)
* Your baby has somehow ended up with blue toes while sitting in her exersaucer. (She's fast! At least it was washable marker!)
*The same child who makes you want to pull your hair out one minute can flash one precious smile the next and absolutely melt your heart. We love our sweet two (almost three!) year old! :-)

Guess Who's Sleeping in a Big Girl Bed?!
Well....she will always be our baby! :-)
We moved Molly to a big girl bed this Summer and she is doing great! She's getting to be such a big girl, but she will always be our baby! :-)On a side note, we are home from Ohio, but I left my camera. Tara is mailing it back, so I will go back and add more Ohio pictures then.

A Day At The Beach!
We had such a fun day in Ohio today! We got to spend the day at the beach and it was beautiful! Low 80's with a breeze--ahhhh.....fantastic! Molly loved the beach! A big improvement over last year when she wouldn't even touch the sand. This year she loved playing in the water and building sandcastles. Rayna has been feeling a little under the weather, but was doing better this afternoon so hopefully she's on the mend. This afternoon we had Frostys in the backyard--what a treat! We are loving our time with the Evoys!

Ohio Fun!
We are in Ohio visiting our good friends Justin and Tara. We drove through the night Wednesday night with our Friend Anna. The girls did really well on the trip--I think driving at night is the way to go with small children. We've been having a lot of fun since we got here. The weather has been glorious--the high today was 80! In July!! I can handle summering in Ohio! :-)
