Look Who's in NC!

Tara is in NC for a visit! We are so excited to spend the next few days with her! We had a great afternoon--we had Mexican after work (of course Tara ordered sweet tea!) and Molly got to spend some time this evening with her Auntie Tara. Hopefully next time she comes she'll be able to bring her hubby Justin! :-)

Trip to the Library

Nana took Molly to the library yesterday and she had a great time! Molly LOVES books--she loves to just sit and look at books. Here are some pictures Nana took while they were there!

18 Months!

Saturday Fun!

Molly had a fun Saturday. We went to my mom's this morning because Brian had some work to do at her house. This afternoon Molly got a very special treat. My mom's church was having having a cookout with games, a puppet show, and live animals. Molly had a good time--she LOVED the animals! (Not sure why the picture of Molly with the calf is so grainy, but it's still cute!) I'm also posting some pictures of Molly on her new swing set. Brian did SUCH a good job finishing it last weekend. :-)

(Little) Baby Update

I recently told Brian how funny it is to me that Molly will be a big sister. Even though she has definitely become a toddler, we still call her "the baby" (example: Honey, did you get the baby's cup?) We tell her all the time that she's SUCH a big girl. She says 100 times a day "I big!" But she's still (and I'm sure always will be) our baby. So when we refer to our newest baby, we call him/her the little baby. :-)

Anyway, I had a doctor's appointment today to check on the little baby and everything looked fine. We got to hear the heartbeat again which is always exciting. I also got a prescription for a nausea medication which I'm hoping takes effect SOON! I'm 11 weeks now so hopefully the nausea will end soon? Let's hope! :-)

Apparently, according to Your Pregnancy Week by Week, at 11 weeks, the baby is now called a fetus and the most critical part of it's development is over (how amazing is that?!) We won't find out the gender at our May appointment, but hopefully if he/she corporates, we will find out in June! :-)

We're so excited about our newest little addition!

More Spring Break Fun

It has been so nice having this time off of work. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but teaching kindergarten while pregnant has not been easy. I think part of your maternity leave should be the first trimester! :-) It's been nice to be able to take a nap everyday. Going back to work is going to be a shock to my system! Thinking about the kids does help, though. I do miss seeing them while we're out on breaks. :-)

Brian finished putting Molly's swing set together on Saturday. He did an amazing job! I need to take a picture of the whole thing, but here is Molly enjoying her new teeter-totter. :-)

Brian also washed the cars on Saturday. He had a little helper! Molly had the best time washing the cars and was NOT happy when Mommy said it was time to go in. :-)Daddy and Molly hanging out at Nana's house.
