Family Weekend

We had a lovely weekend!  Just enough snow that daddy couldn't make it into work on Saturday. It was so nice to have a weekend together during busy season!  

Snow Day

 We had our first snow day for 2017!  The weather man was calling for 6-8".  We got about 1/2".  But it was enough to do a little sledding, have a snowball fight, and make snow cream.  We take what little bit we can get here in the south!

Science Project

So proud of our girl!  She has worked so hard on her science project (which was super intense for a third grader!) and presented today. Her teacher sent me a message that she did a great job on her presentation.  Did I mention I'm a proud Mama?!

Today Aaron and I were playing a letter matching game. I flipped over "M."

Aaron: oh! Here's the other "m"!
Me: you told me! Now who gets the match? 
Aaron: you do!
Me: but we both found an "m"--why do I get to keep the match?
Aaron: oh! That's because you my best Mama ever!

Guinea Pig

Molly has been wanting a Guinea pig for quite awhile. Our neighbors' Guinea pig had babies and they were looking for homes for them.  Molly bought a cage from a friend and we took one of the babies. Molly named her Charley and she's very sweet. Molly has been loving her!  She's turned into such an animal lover. And she's so responsible for all of her pets. Very proud of her!
