Incredible Kid and Field Trip

Rayna had a very exciting day today!  The first graders went on a field trip to Aw Shucks farm. Then, after her field trip, her class had Incredible Kid day. Rayna has made so much progress this year. We are so thankful for Union Prep and all of her teachers!

 

 

Winston-Salem

We got to spend Memorial Day (and Aunt Marie's birthday!!) in Winston-Salem this year. It was Ethan's first trip to Winston and I'd say he enjoyed it!  We went to the park and saw Uncle Richard's new house.  Everyone (including Ginger) is going to sleep well tonight.

 

Super Sunday

We had a super Sunday!  Including Ethan's very first trip to the pool. He wasn't too sure of the cold water. I think he preferred sitting by the pool eating snacks.

Rayna went bowling for the first time. We are looking forward to more bowling this summer.

Me:  Ethan.... buddy.... why did you dump out all of the toy tubs?

Molly: Because he's cute and he knows he won't have to clean it up.

Molly's Dinner

When Molly complained about what we were having for dinner, I told her *she* could make dinner. So she did!  She made dinner, made plates, and set the table. And her dinner was a big hit!  I might have to put her in charge of dinner more often!

 

 

Library Time

Aaron loves going to story time at the library every week. And Ethan loves the bubbles at story time!

 

 

Signpost Ministries

Today we had to opportunity to serve as a family at Signpost Ministries. Wears very excited about the things that Signpost is doing both in our local community and globally. 

 

 

 

 

 

Soccer Saturday

Aaron and Rayna have had a great soccer season. Aaron is really loving soccer this year and he's doing so well!  Rayna is pretty tired if it. We are quite certain she is going to win the "most flowers picked during soccer season" award. Ha!

Two Months

 Our sweet Ethan has been home with us for two months!  In some ways, it seems like the time has flown, but in others it feels like he's always been with us.  He is such a sweet boy!  He is growing and developing so quickly.  We are so thankful for this sweet boy!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to my sweet Mom!  So thankful for you!  Also, thankful for my four blessings on Earth and my sweet boy in Heaven that made me a mom.  Also thankful for my Mom-in-Law.  Happy Mother's Day!

 

Pirates and Princesses

The kids got to see some princesses and pirates at the mall today.  Aaron was very excited to meet Jake the pirate.  Jake even let Aaron wear his real pirate hat.  Fun day!
