Awana Kickoff

Last night was the kick off for Awana.  It was water night--water slide, games, etc. They got their new books and they've already been learning their Bible verses.  Rayna and Molly will both be in the Sparks class and Aaron will be a Puggle again.

We got to spend the day with Grandma and Grandpa Hines today. Grandpa and Daddy installed doors between the school room and the foyer. I'm so excited to have school room doors!  Grandma and Granpa brought doughnuts for Molly's adoption day. (That girl loves doughnuts!)  We are so thankful for time with family!

Happy Adoption Day!!

Seven years ago, we held our baby girl for the first time. I can't believe it's been seven years since we were in Vietnam. 

We had a great time celebrating Molly's Adoption Day. Molly was very happy that there is no school on her Adoption Day. She wanted to eat dinner at Golden Corral so we met Nana for dinner. Then we took her out and let her pick out a small Adoption Day gift.

We are so incredibly thankful for the gift of adoption. So thankful for the gift of Molly!

Park with Daddy

Brian suggested going to the park today, so we decided to go to Crooked Creek again since he was at work the last time we went. We also took Ginger along since I had an extra set of adult hands. They played hard and will hopefully sleep well tonight!

Seven Years Ago Today...

We were headed to the other side of the world to pick up this sweet baby!  It's hard to believe that it's been seven years since we began our journey to Vietnam.  Tuesday is Molly's Adoption Day and she's already making big plans!  Love this girl so much!

Last Day of Summer Reading

Today was the last day if the Summer reading program at the library. The kids worked very hard to fill up their reading logs. They got to trade them in for some pretty exciting prizes. 

Molly's World

This morning, the kids were playing "house."
Me: you girls need to go clean your room.
Molly: but I can't clean! I'm the mom!  😳😂

Then this evening, she was pretending that Brian was a villain and she was arresting him for stealing money. 
Molly: you didn't have to steal! If you need money, you just go to the bank and ask for it! 😳😂

Ahhhh.... To live in Molly's world where moms don't clean and the banks are ready and waiting to pass out an endless supply of money!

We finally took Aaron's crib down. My baby officially has a big boy room.

Last night, we went to a party at our friends', the Donahues. Aaron calls them the "dominos."  Such a great time with great friends!
