Yesterday, we carved our pumpkin. The girls had fun with it. Aaron wasn't very interested. Molly got out all the seeds and we roasted them. Tonight, the kids decorated a pumpkin cake with their buddy Nolan. We are ready for Halloween!
We celebrated the girls' birthdays today with their grandparents. Brian's parents and my mom came over. Nana made a beautiful Frozen cake for the girls. They were so excited! They also got Elsa and Ana costumes. Rayna wore her Ana dress all day! Grandma and Grandpa gave the girls gift cards. We made a trip to Target today and they had a blast picking out stuff. Aaron had fun celebrating too. I think all the fun wore him out because he took an extra long nap! So thankful for my family. :)
Brian's old company, Sealing Agents, had a little mini reunion tonight. A bunch of his old coworkers got together for dinner. Our good friends Jeff and Kenna watched the kiddos for us. Kenna texted me this picture while we were gone. As you can see, they had fun playing with their buddies and eating cupcakes. :-)
We've had a fun couple of days celebrating the birthday girl. Yesterday, we had a birthday brunch, presents, and her favorite dinner--shrimp fettuccine alfredo and orange salad. Then today, we went to Chuck E. Cheese. I can't believe our baby is SEVEN!!
Our
Molly is 7 years old today. Celebrating her life and praying for her
birth mom in Vietnam who chose life for her baby girl. Praising God for
allowing allowing us to parent this precious child.
Happy birthday, Molly Grace Nguyen Hines! You are so incredibly loved, Baby Girl!
Today we had to privilege of participating in the Joni and Friends "Walk n Roll." Brian and I took turns working in our church's booth and the kids had a good time. Our good fronds, the Hiltons, walked in memory of our Zeke. :)
Molly's birthday is one week from today. She is beyond excited. She got a birthday card from church and a birthday letter from State Employees Credit Union. I'm sure she's going to be checking the mail daily for birthday cards. I can't believe my baby will be seven next week!
Our neighbor, Ms. Wanda, took the girls to the pumpkin patch. They love Ms. Wanda and had fun spending time with her. So thankful for awesome neighbors!
I had a lot to do for church today so Brian took the kids on a little Daddy date. They went to the Wesley Chapel fire station to learn about fire safety. They had a bounce house, got their faces painted, and came home with all kinds of goodies. They also came home with lots of fire safety knowledge. It was a fun day with Daddy!
