Newmans
The Newman family is in the process of moving to Virgina. Fred accepted a job preaching full time and they have found a house there. They are in town to pick up the test of their things so we got to say
Goodbye to them. We are going to miss them so much!!

Everybody Loves Sissy!
This morning, both Aaron and Rayna wanted Molly to play. They were each pulling on one of her arms saying, "lee lee!" (Their nickname for Molly).
Molly: hey guys! Who do think I am?!? Nana?!?

Out and About
While the roof was being replaced and our house was sooooo incredibly noisy (you know...noisier than it normally is with three kids), we decided to spend the day out and about. We spent the day with our friends the Hoovers and the Yorans. We went to Smart Start at Play and then to lunch at Chic-fil-a. Thankfully, the roof is finished!!

Eat More Chicken!
Today was Cow Appreciation Day at Chicfila. We dressed up like cows and ate at Chicfila. Brian is out of town for work so Nana went with us. This was the first year that Molly has wanted to see the cow. Brave girl! We had a great time!

Happy 4th of July!
What a beautiful 4th of July! The weather was just lovely today! We went to the 4th of July parade in Waxhaw (my hometown!) and had lunch with the Russells. It was the kids' first parade. Aaron liked all of the cars, trucks, and motorcycles. The girls liked that people threw out candy. Love that the 4th of July fell on a Friday this year so that we got a three day weekend with Daddy! Happy Independence Day!

First Grade!
I know... It seems way too early to be talking back-to-school. But Hines Acedemy is back in full swing! Our goal is to start early and then take a couple of months off during Brian's busy season. Molly is in first grade this year. We decided to use Abeka for Molly and so far we really like it. She's learning lots of new stuff but I think the thing she is most excited about is learning to write in cursive. Our baby is growing up!
