First Library Card

Molly got her very first library card this week.  She was SO excited!  She is becoming quite the little reader.  Tonight she was reading in some little Barbie readers that she has and I overheard her read, "This book features the short 'i' sound."  Little smarty!

 We always knew she was gifted!  ;-)

Happy Birthday to Daddy!

 

We celebrated Daddy's birthday today.  We surprised him with Pizza Hut and the girls helped me make him a birthday cake.  We love you, Daddy!

One Year Old Stats

At one year old, Aaron is 30 inches tall and weighs 22 lbs.  He is in the 50th percentile for height and weight and off the charts for cuteness!  ;-)

Happy Father's Day!

I am so blessed by this wonderful man that my children call "Daddy."  Happy Father's Day, Honey!

One Already?!

These last twelve months with our boy have just flown.  He has grown and changed so much.  At one-year-old, Aaron can walk (he has pretty much given up crawling), wave bye-bye, and play peek-a-boo.  He has nine teeth.  He is a really good eater--he will pretty much eat anything.  He loves anything that makes a loud noise--motorcycle, school bus, vacuum cleaner, lawnmower, etc.  He is definitely turning into a toddler.  He gets into EVERYTHING.  One of his new favorite games is to take dishes out of the dishwasher and throw them into the trash.  He is developing an opinion about things and doesn't like it when he doesn't get his way.  He loves to be outside and he loves playing with his sisters.  He is such a sweet baby boy and we are so thankful for the year we have had to spend with our Aaron!

 

Happy First Birthday!

 Aaron turned one year old today!  This year has FLOWN!  I can't believe our baby boy is ONE!  He had a nice birthday.  The girls helped me make and decorate a train cake for him and the Newman family came over to help us celebrate.  We love our sweet one-year-old!

Last Day of School!

 Today was the last day of school for Rayna (and Mommy!).  Rayna had a little end of year celebration and of course it was adorable!  She was so excited to show us her classroom and all of her friends.  When she woke up this morning, she said, "Mommy, you have to take a picture of me and James and Axel!"  Well, I tried.  Getting a picture of three preschoolers is no easy task!  But they were so sweet!  We LOVE Rayna's school and Rayna's teachers.  It is amazing how far she has come in such a short time.  We are so proud of our Rayna!
