So Handsome!

It's Offical!

I turned in my letter of resignation today.  I will not be returning to teaching next year.  I have a lot of emotions.  I'm anxious about losing my job security, sad to lose my identity as a teacher.....but mostly I am just THRILLED that God is allowing me to spend more time with these precious faces:

10 Months Old

My sweet boy is 10 months old.  At 10 months old, Aaron is full of energy!  Brian and I have been commenting about how he is transforming into a toddler before our eyes.  He is crawling, pulling up, cruising, and getting into trouble.  He is pulling all of the clothes our of his drawers, playing in the toilet, eating dog food, and he has just learned to climb the stairs!  The baby gates are officially back up!  He's a really good eater.  He eats just about anything but his favorite things are cheese sandwiches, bananas, and yogurt.  We have taken him swimming a couple of times and he LOVES it.  He splashes, kicks, and throws his head backwards into the water.  When he feels his head hit the water, he just laughs.  It's the cutest thing!  We love our sweet Aaron!     

Riverbanks Zoo

 

Yesterday we spent the day at Riverbanks Zoo.  We went with the Newman family and met Scottie and Lacey there.  Aaron stayed home with Nana.  The girls had an awesome time seeing all the animals.  It was so great to spend time with everyone.  Love Spring break!

Happy Birthday to Me!

 

 I had a great time celebrating my 31st birthday with my family.  My girls were so sweet.  They both remembered that it was my birthday and the first thing they each said to me when they woke up (unprompted!) was "happy birthday, Mommy!"  Precious girls!  We had dinner at Qdoba, Nana made my favorite peanut butter brownies, and I had a lovely coffee night with my girlfriends. 

 

 And happy birthday to Mommy--I got a clothesline!  Funny what excites a 31-year-old!

Ducky-Duck-Ducks

The kids LOVE to feed the ducks.  (Or the ducky-duck-ducks as Rayna calls them!)  We save all of our bread, popcorn, etc. for the ducks.  They like to see the Hines family coming!

9 Month Stats

 

 Aaron had his 9 month appointment last week.  He is 28 inches tall and weighs 19.2 lbs.  He's in the 25th percentile for both height and weight.  Such a sweetie! 

Grandpa and Grandma Hines

 

Grandma and Bapa came for a visit today.  The girls were SOOOO excited about them coming.  It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time!
