A Little of This, A Little of That....

The Evoys

We had SUCH an awesome time with our good friends Justin and Tara. They left early this morning and we are already missing them. In fact, when Molly woke up this morning the first thing she said was, "Where my Auntie Tara go, Mommy?" When I told her she went home she said, "Where my Justin go?" Needless to say, they are going to be missed around here!

Rayna's First Church Service

Rayna went to church for the first time today! Our pediatrician recommended keeping her out of public places for the first four weeks so since she's four weeks tomorrow, she got to go to church today. She really enjoyed meeting all of her new church friends! :-)

Christmas Pictures

We had dinner at James and Anna's on Friday night and while we were there they took some Christmas pictures for us. I think they are adorable! The fact that I have the most handsome husband and two most beautiful girls sure helps! :-)

Happy Birthday, Grandpa and Grandma!

We also want to wish a very happy birthday to Brian's parents!! Grandpa had a birthday on the 21st and Grandma's was yesterday! They are the most amazing in-laws I could ask for and WONDERFUL grandparents! We are SO grateful for them! We love you guys!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had such a fun Thanksgiving! Our good friends Justin and Tara are here from Ohio! We are so excited to have them! We also had our good friends Anna and James as well as my mom and brother and Brian's family. We had a really good time! Molly didn't take a nap, but she really did super and LOVED all of the attention. Nana made Christmas quilts and pillows for the girls and gave them to them today. They are just precious! Molly loved hers SO much! I was worried that she would be sad to go to bed tonight, but she was so excited about her new quilt that she didn't mind. Justin and Tara are here until Sunday so we are so looking forward to spending time with them the next few days!

Happy First Thanksgiving, Rayna!
Look at how much Molly has grown this year!!

This Weekend...

We gave Rayna her first real bath! She didn't seem to mind it too much and Molly had fun watching. She wants Rayna to get big enough to take a bath with her. :-)
Going for a walk--
Every time I put Rayna in the sling, Molly wants HER baby in a sling. So cute! :-)
Our sweet Rayna will be three weeks old tomorrow!
It's been a fun three weeks with our newest baby girl!
And even though I told myself I was going to stop counting her age in months when she turned two, I can't help but mention that our sweet Molly is 25 months old today!
Our little artist hard at work. :-)

Five Years!

Five years ago today, I married my best friend. We have been through so much in the last five years, but praise God, it has brought us closer together. I am so thankful for Brian--he's such an amazing husband and father.

Happy 5 Year Anniversary, Honey! :-)

Lovely Weekend

After many days of cold, rainy weather, we had a BEAUTIFUL weekend. We had all been feeling a little stir-crazy so we spent a good majority of this weekend outside. Saturday morning, my mom, Molly, Rayna, and I all walked to the playground at the school near our house. Molly actually WALKED the whole way (she usually rides in her wagon) and had SUCH a good time walking on the sidewalk like a big girl and stopping to pick flowers.
Molly helped Daddy wash the car today. This has got to be one of her all time favorite things to do. She wants her own bucket and sponge and is SO excited the whole time. It's so cute!Align Right
Our sweet Rayna will be 2 weeks old tomorrow! I can't believe she's only been here for two weeks! She's been eating well and has been a happy baby so far. Her sleep at night is inconsistent. Some nights she's up A LOT and other nights she's only up every three hours to nurse and she's back to sleep. So some days I feel more rested than others. :-)

She is such a sweet girl! We are loving her so much!

Rayna and Rayna

My friend Amy brought HER Rayna over yesterday afternoon to meet Baby Rayna. The first time I heard the name Rayna was when I met the Franks and I thought it was such a beautiful name. After getting to know Rayna Frank better, I thought the name was all the more precious. Brian agreed so we decided that if we had another little girl after Molly we would name her Rayna. It was special for the Raynas to get to meet and Molly had a good time playing with Rayna and Colsen.

Daddy's Girls

My mom was commenting tonight on what a Daddy's girl Molly has become. She gets SO excited when Brian gets home from work. When we were in the hospital she asked both my mom and Marie if she could call Brian several times. At one point I was talking to her on the phone and she said, "Talk my Daddy more, Mommy." I would have been offended, but it was so stinkin' cute. :-)

It looks like Daddy is going to have another Daddy's girl on his hands. No-- I don't have permission to post this photo, but how could I not? :-)

One Week Old

Rayna turned one week old yesterday. She has been a very content baby so far. She's had a very exciting first few days at home. She's had several visitors including Grandma and Grandpa Hines and Aunt Marie who came for a visit this weekend. Brian went back to work on Monday, but my mom has been here to help which has been SO nice. We're so blessed! :-)

LOVE her bright eyes!
Rayna and Grandpa

Molly has been SUCH a good big sister. She just loves Rayna. She asks about her every morning when she gets up. If she gets even a little fussy, Molly gets very concerned. She'll say "Baby paci please" or "Baby Ray-Ray nurse now." She wants to make sure that she's taken care of--it's so sweet.

Sweet big sister
I love how I caught Rayna smiling in her sleep
Doing another puzzle--
I LOVE her toes! :-)
Fun in the tub!

Videos of our Sweet Girls

Just wanted to share a couple of videos of our sweet girls. Rayna was awake for a really long stretch tonight. She was just so happy--she's the sweetest little thing!

Molly got a new puzzle from her Aunt Marie when she came this week. This is the first puzzle she's had without pictures underneath and she amazes me with how fast she puts it together. Such a smart girl! :-)

Rayna is Home!

We were so excited to get to bring Rayna home from the hospital today! Molly was SO excited about meeting her new baby sister. She kept saying "Rayna come out Mommy's belly"--she was just amazed. It was so cute seeing them together. We are so thankful to have our newest baby girl home!
Time to go home!

Our internet at the hospital was SO slow that it was impossible to post pictures. I'm going to go back and add pictures to that post so you can look there to see baby Rayna's first day. :-)
